Bartender
About the Role
We are looking for a professional bartender with a desire to work at our unique venue and provide an excellent guest drinking experience. The start date will be mid-October 2021.
del Rios Winery & Restaurant is a restaurant where the family philosophy of great wine, food and friends comes together in a wonderful setting. For our newest project, we are looking for a part-time bartender who is able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations.
Our current opening hours are Friday 5:30-9:30pm and Saturday & Sunday 11:30-5:00pm, so you will be only working on weekends. We are also planning to begin a Saturday evening service in the near future.
The responsibilities will include:
- Prepare beverages (alcoholic & non-alcoholic) for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customers’ identification and confirm they meet the legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
About You

We’re looking for someone with...
- Proven experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Knowledge of cash handling and POS systems (preferably Square)
- A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- The ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- A relevant training certificate
